SnubbingOperation is one of well services job using hydraulic system. Launched by Otis Engineering since 1929 and go international since 1950. Used for :
- Pulling and running a single or dual completion
- Running and pulling submersible pump
- Fishing
- Sand Washing
- Millilng Bridges and packer
- Squeeze cementing
- Drill out cement
- Through tubing gravel pack
- Acidizing
- Rig Assist
- etc
The technique of running on or out a pipe under pressure is more
economical by without first killing the well than to kill it. This typical
operation avoid damaging the production zone by penetration of mud / liquid
into the formation.
